Quick answer: in Miami, a 60-minute lymphatic drainage massage usually costs $90 to $185, and post-op lymphatic drainage after lipo or a BBL usually runs $80 to $185 per visit, depending on length and whether the therapist comes to you. Packages bring the per-session price down. At Loly Spa in Coral Gables, a full body lymphatic massage is $180 for 60 minutes and post-op lymphatic drainage is $120 per session. Insurance rarely pays for it unless it's treatment for diagnosed lymphedema.
Prices online are all over the place, and many "cost guides" are national averages that don't match Miami. So we compared what Miami-Dade and Broward spas and mobile therapists actually list today, and explained what pushes the number up or down.
We reviewed more than 20 Miami-Dade and Broward listings on Booksy, Fresha, Airbnb Services and Blys in October 2026. Here's where the market sits:
| Service | Typical Miami price | What we saw |
|---|---|---|
| Wellness lymphatic massage, 60 min | $90 to $185 | Low end $89, most between $120 and $180 |
| Post-op lymphatic drainage, 30 to 60 min | $80 to $185 | Many at exactly $120 per visit |
| Fibrosis-focused post-op session | $200 to $250 | Fewer spas offer it |
| Mobile (in-home or hotel) visit | $15 to $40 more per visit | Some platforms add a booking fee |
| Post-op 10-session package | $800 to $1,060 | About $80 to $106 per visit |
| Premium or clinical-level sessions | Up to about $300 | Usually longer or done by medical staff |
Listing prices change often, so treat these as a snapshot. National guides land in a similar spot: ThePricer puts a 60-minute spa session at $100 to $150 and clinical-level sessions at $150 to $185.
These are the prices on our live booking page as of October 2026:
Everything is paid when you book online, with Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal. Mobile visits are available across greater Miami. Ask about scheduling when you book.
Three reasons.
It takes specific training. Lymphatic drainage follows a set sequence and pressure that a general massage course doesn't fully cover. Therapists who do post-op work also need to understand surgical recovery, compression garments and when to stop and send you back to your surgeon.
Post-op visits carry more responsibility. Your therapist is working on healing tissue, sometimes around incisions and drains, and often in your hotel room or rental the day after surgery.
Mobile visits add travel. Crossing the MacArthur Causeway to South Beach at 5pm isn't a quick trip, and that time is priced in.
Plan for the series, not one visit. Plastic surgery practices commonly suggest anywhere from 5 to 10 or more sessions, often several a week at first, then tapering. At $120 a visit, 6 sessions is $720 and 10 sessions is $1,200. Add your compression garment and any foam or boards your surgeon asks for.
How many you'll actually need depends on your procedure and your surgeon's protocol. We cover it in detail in how many lymphatic sessions you need after lipo or a BBL.
If you'll actually use it, yes. Across Miami, post-op packages work out to roughly $80 to $106 per visit for a 10-pack, compared with $120 or more one at a time. Packages also make it easier to stick to a schedule, which matters more than any single session.
Before you buy, ask three things: when the sessions expire, whether they can be used for mobile visits, and what the cancellation policy is. Ours don't carry a short expiration, and our standard 24-hour cancellation policy applies to each session. See our packages page.
Usually not, unless it's treating a medical condition.
Sometimes. Massage can qualify when it treats a diagnosed condition, and most plan administrators ask for a Letter of Medical Necessity from your doctor that names the condition and the recommended frequency. FSAFEDS, for example, lists massage therapy as eligible with a detailed receipt. Relaxation and cosmetic recovery sessions generally don't qualify. Check with your plan before booking.
At a spa, yes, if you're happy with the session. Etiquette guides like Emily Post suggest 15% to 20%, the same as any massage. Tipping usually isn't expected in medical or physical therapy settings.
A low price isn't automatically bad. But for post-op work, check these before you book:
Wellness sessions are usually 60 minutes. Post-op sessions are often 30 to 60 minutes, since fresh surgical tissue is tender.
In the first week or two, short, frequent sessions are common and often easier on your body than long ones. Your therapist will adjust as you heal.
Usually, by about $15 to $40 per visit in Miami. Many post-op clients find it worth it to avoid driving or sitting in a car.
Because of the extra care, assessment and often travel involved, not the minutes on the table.
